2014 Arctic Cat 400

Hi all, new to the forum and new to atv's. I am looking at purchasing a 2014 arctic cat 400 (2100km) for a reasonable price but the limited reviews I have read on this year and model are not good. Does anyone have first hand knowledge on this?

any year make and model will have bad reviews,
If the price is right and you want that atv, get it.
check for obvious missing parts, leaks, missing bolts, you can check "bearings play" or eve bushings
oil level, coolant level.
I find from experience a lot of used atvs are lacking of maintenance.
any day and time something could break.
but the maintenance aspect is crucial.
whether you purchase it or not, you should do the following
compression test - will tell you piston/rings/ headgasket condition
flush coolant
change oil and filter
replace air filter and spark plug
check brakes
check battery and charging unit
and dont forget to have fun!

I agree^^ most people don't take the time to post good reviews as they are too busy riding it. The few that have problems always cry the loudest.

It's a great machine! As with any vehicle just keep up on maintenance. I had to replace the fuel valve on the one I had but other than that it was great!
